This is a very high quality bag with a price to match. The construction and attention to detail is beyond anything I have seen from any other brand in over 20 years of looking for the 'perfect camera bag'. There is no perfect bag for all situations, but if you are looking for a quality large shoulder bag this one is worthy of your consideration. The fasteners and zippers are of good quality as is the fabric used inside and out. The shoulder strap has plenty of room to expand for across the chest carry and the removable hand strap is not adjustable but is of a good length. The connection point for the shoulder and hand strap appear to run down the side, across the bottom and back up the other side, ensuring the bottom of this bag will never give out under a heavy load, dumping gear on the ground (I've had that happen with a cheaper bag). The seams all appear sturdy, with box stitching where the straps terminate. The leather bottom, zipper pulls and strap grip pads are well made and provide a nice touch. There are plenty of pockets and the two pockets on the ends have a zipper that allows them to expand to hold larger items when needed. When expanded they are a good size for a water bottle or a medium size lens but they don't have any padding so storing a lens there might not be a good idea in some situations. There is a rain cover included but it is not built into a special pocket like some other bags, giving you the option of leaving it at home if you live in an area that doesn't see much rainfall. The inner padding is removable making the bag useful as a general purpose shoulder bag if needed. About the only thing I would like to see changed is making the shoulder strap removable like the short carry strap. Not a big deal, I can't see it being used without one but if the original strap becomes damaged it will make attaching a replacement more difficult. One of the cooler things about the bag is the Velcro seal on the main flap. Pull down then out when opening the bag and it's virtually silent. I imagine we will be seeing this on a lot of things in the future.
