The unit was okay in the beginning. It connected quickly, and worked well. It was a little fluky in that when it first turns on, it has "memory" of it's last image, so you could be at the mall, but when it turns on, it's your driveway for a split second. The unit has to manually charged up initially, before use. Then in theory, if you drive outside, the sun will continue to charge it. I don't know how long it's supposed to be outside to charge up, but my unit never seemed to charge, even when it was outside for 5-6 hours under sun. I always had to charge it up manually every week and a half. There is button on the screen to press to turn it on, but after the first month of use, the unit would just randomly turn on, or not turn on when button was pressed. So, it was getting crazy for sure.I was so excited to give this thing a try on our travel trailer. Unfortunately, even using my SUV, the connection from the camera to the display unit constantly drops. And it's such a pain to head out and re-pair using the connection button on the camera itself. I eventually gave up, and now my wife and I are just back to walkie talkies when we're backing into a campsite.The whole thing just stinks. :(I hope I just got a bad monitor, can't even make out what's on the screen the image is so bad... I asked for a new one to be sent and will update if and when I get it...Plugged this unit into the charger and it won’t charge at all.exactly what I was looking for, easy install.I have no plms with connection back camI liked everything . It's a great product. Easy and quick setup.The camera is.good. My husband loves it.
